The Killarney Cougars had an early start this Saturday morning with a long road trip north to face Team North West at the Atlantic Technological University for a cross conference clash in Letterkenny, Co Donegal.
Team North West have hit good form in 2023 with excellent victories in over the Northern Conferences top two Drogheda Wolves and Tolka Rovers.
That has given the Donegal side a renewed confidence to finish the season with a good run and a good opportunity to claim the chase the last play-off place.

The impressive form of the high-scoring Ignacio Campus and John Fierstein has been key to their good results of late and they will ensure a difficult away game for the Cougars.
The Cougars will look to recent American signing Marty Hill for another big performance with young players Jack Lynch and Tommy Bowler hoping they can continue to produce the encouraging form shown against SETU Carlow and Dublin’s Lions.
Injury will rule out Conor Flynn and Alex Fleming on this occasion, with late fitness checks also required for Andrew Fitzgerald and Esebio Strijdhaftig.
The Cougars’ recent performances against the Lakers, SETU Carlow and Dublin’s Lions will give encouragement to coach Patrick O’Regan for what is likely to be a very youthful Cougars team on duty for the team’s second visit to Ulster in recent weeks.
They will face a trip to Belfast in January and a first ever national league trip to Donegal on this occasion.
The tip-off off in ATU Sports Arena Letterkenny, Donegal is at 5.00pm.
