With love, from Killarney to USA

A SPECIAL edition of a hit reality US television series, to be screened Stateside this Monday night, will feature Killarney as the perfect romantic backdrop.

The host venue for the hugely popular series is the Randles Court Hotel in Killarney and the show will feature surrounding scenery and some of the activities and facilities on offer here.

The series, The Bachelorette, will air on ABC and it charts the travels of Kaitlyn Bristowe, a regular contributor on US chat shows Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen, who is on a romantic journey as she meets 25 handsome and charming men with the Randles Court hosting suitors vying for her affections.

The series, which has been enthralling viewers throughout the USA, features romance, rivalry and quite possibly, true love with one lucky girl getting the opportunity to find the man of her dreams. A number of dapper gentlemen will be doing their level best to win Kaitlyn’s heart and to put an end to her bachelorette days.

Randles Court owner, Tom Randles, said he was sworn to secrecy about the filming until now.

“This is going to be such an amazing opportunity for our team at the hotel and for the tourism industry in Ireland, having been given this primetime platform,” he said.

Tom added “When ABC was looking for a romantic location in Europe and Ireland, it’s no wonder that they chose Kerry.”

Viewers will have a fly-on-the-wall view with secretive filming in the hotel and at such awe-inspiring locations as Ross Castle, Inch Beach, Dingle and Muckross House.
