Walls and signs plastered with leaflets

The leaflets stuck to the wall of a business premises on Muckross Road

AN anti vax activist has targeted a number of businesses in Killarney by plastering their entrances and commercial signage with cheaply produced leaflets claiming coronavirus vaccines are dangerous.

A number of businesses on the Muckross Road were targeted, apparently under the cover of darkness, in the early hours of Friday morning, with a number of leaflets stuck to walks and signs.

One business had several posters plastered on entrance walls and on the main sign directing customers to the main door.

One of the leaflets, which illegally used the Health Service Executive logo, claimed the vaccines had caused over 11,000 deaths in the EU and left “405,000 vaccine injured” and it alleged that the vaccinations being rolled out throughout the country were not safe.

The leaflets also contained details of two websites where more information on vaccines could be found.

Another of the leaflets featured an elderly man sitting on a chair holding his head with the caption ‘Lockdowns Cost Lives Too: Who is counting them?’ while another featured 14 “facts” people should know about the vaccines.

The businesses targeted removed the leaflets as soon as they were spotted and CCTV is being examined.
