PROGRESSIVE Killarney operation Tricel was one of two firms to reveal contracts with French companies worth over €5 million at an Enterprise Ireland breakfast briefing in Lyon this Friday.
One of Europe’s leading manufacturer of wastewater treatment systems, Tricel has agreed a deal with Rhone Alpes Assainissement, who are the leading supplier of environmental products in their region.
The other Irish company involved is Wood Energy Solutions in Cahir, Co Tipperary who manufacture biomass boilers for the domestic and commercial sectors.
Enterprise Ireland said the contracts reflect the effective state agency strategy to scale Irish exports to established markets like France.
Tricel, based in Tiernaboul Industrial Estate, is owned and run by the Stack family with managing director, Mike Stack, working closely with his three brothers, Richard, Con and Robert.
Building on a sustained record of growth and achievement since its foundation in 1973, the company became the market leader in the supply of water tanks, environmental products, materials and construction products.
