Santa’s sensational sleigh had heads turning all evening but there was no shortage of wide-eyed young boys and girls racing to the front of the crowd to catch a glimpse of the spectacularly decorated tractors that led the first Christmas in Killarney parade of the season on Saturday night.

Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club, celebrating its 10th year, had the honour of spearheading the way for the fabulous floats and, of course, Santa Claus himself with thousands of spectators lining the streets to enjoy the magic of the season.
A total of six power-packed tractors took part, one dating back to 1951, and they were all seasonally decorated with twinkling fairy lights and decorations.
