A BIG boost for the commercial sector in Killarney has been announced following confirmation that leading outdoor clothing and accessories brand Trespass is to open a new store in Killarney Outlet Centre.
It will trade from a 152 sq.m. unit which brings to nine the total number of standalone Trespass stores in the Republic of Ireland.
The Irish-owned chain has gone from strength to strength, opening four new stores in 2014 with further developments planned for the remainder of this year.
Killarney Outlet Centre is currently anchored by one of the country’s largest Nike Factory Stores and is home to a mix of local and national tenants including Costa Coffee, Holland & Barrett, Claire’s Accessories, Paco, Leading Labels, The Works, Pavers Shoes, DV8 and O’Brien’s Sandwich Bar.
Trespass offers functional and fashionable outdoor clothing and accessories for all the family at value-driven prices.
A spokesman for the company said: “We are delighted to be opening in the Killarney Outlet Centre. We see this as a perfectly situated store to pick up all that is needed whether you are tackling the mountain peaks of Kerry, enjoying the scenery or fighting the rain on the streets.”
Trespass has something for all, from waterproof jackets, walking boots, skiwear and active wear and it is a one-stop-shop for outdoor clothing and equipment.
Niamh Sheahan of Dublin based property firm CBRE said the outdoor retailer will be an exciting addition to Killarney Outlet Centre.
“Generally speaking, the improved activity across the retail market is slowly starting to filter down to strong provincial towns. We look forward to confirming further new store openings within the scheme in the near future,” she said.
Trespass will be celebrating the opening of their store at Killarney Outlet Centre with a fantastic 50 per cent off most stock.
