A HAUL of 25 points from great Dane Toby Christensen inspired Killarney’s Scott’s Lakers to an impressive 97-84 weekend victory over Waterford Vikings to keep their promotion aspirations very much alive.
Killarney held the edge all through an engaging encounter and, having led 45-44 at half-time, they drove on in the second half to seal victory.
Not for the first time this season, Christensen was the standout player and he received great assistance from Aaron Jackson, who knocked in 19 points, and Brian O’Neill who hit 17.
Elsewhere, in the top flight, Garvey’s Warriors Tralee had a brilliant 103-78 victory over DCU Saints while Keane’s SuperValu Killorglin lost 54-67 to Griffith College Templeogue.
