With judging for the 2022 tidy towns competition due to commence in June, and continuing until early September, members of the local committee are rolling up their sleeves, donning their high-vis bibs and taking to the streets and the roads around town to ensure Killarney is presented at its best.
The tidy towns committee has asked the business community could make a conscious collective effort to keep their premises and environs weed and litter free during this time.
Everybody is welcome to join Killarney’s campaign on Monday evenings for litter picking and clearing.
The first outing is this Monday night with volunteers meeting at Lidl car park at 6.00pm.
All equipment will be provided.
