
An interactive discussion on the role technology can play in enhancing quality of life as people grow older will be held in Farranfore on Thursday next, May 18, from 11.00am to 1.00pm.
The think-in event will take place at the Centre for Smart Ageing which is based in Unit 11 of the 4 Park in the village.
Organised by the SFI ADAPT Centre in collaboration with the Centre for Smart Ageing, the purpose is to discuss and share perspectives on the technology used in everyday life and participation in the event will help researchers create better technology people growing older.

The event will draw from the participants’ lived experience and the discussion will focus on technology and healthy lifestyles through group discussion.
The think-in content, co-created with members of the Smart Healthy Ageing community in Kerry in March, will give people the opportunity to listen to short presentations on the topic and to join small discussion groups.
The organisers will provide all the information needed and they are interested in hearing opinions from everyone.
