IT’S a long way from Tipperary but it was a journey well worth making for Seán Browne (pictured) who has become a very familiar face in Killarney since moving to the town several years ago.
Well known and very popular in his adopted home place, he loves nothing more than exploring the beauty of Killarney National Park, usually struggling to keep pace with his faithful King Charles Spaniel, Oskar.
The son of a former Mayor of Cashel, Seán is never slow to voice his opinion and is ready and willing to speak up for those whose voices might otherwise not be heard.
Like Chelsea boss José Mourinho, he has a fondness for custard creams, loves Maher’s meatballs and is still struggling to forgive Ireland’s most capped junior soccer player for a wayward childhood elbow that cost him a front tooth.
