IT was always only a matter of time – and when it did come it was more chill factor than X-Factor.
Graphic designer Micheál Reidy of MDGD, very thoughtfully nominated KillarneyToday.com for the ice bucket challenge.
And given that it’s in aid of such a wonderful cause, we were only delighted to accept.
To spread the love further, we are now nominating three of Fossa’s most upstanding and outstanding citizens:
1. Michael Rosney, PRO of the Kerry branch of the Irish Hotels Federation and priorietor of the award-winning Killeen House Hotel in Killarney – you’re nominated.
2. Seán Kelly, MEP. leader of the Fine Gael party in Europe and the most dynamic President of the GAA in the history of the association, you’re nominated too.
3. A young chap who you may or may not have heard of given his low-key profile: forget about the Oscars shortlist Mr Fassbender, here’s a more important nomination for you to contend with.
It’s €20 for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association cause if they take up the challenge and €100 if they don’t.
And now all we can do at this stage, is sit back and wait…
