TEENAGERS turned on the style in no uncertain terms for a glamorous fundraiser in aid of St Francis Special School in Beaufort.
Close on 200 youth club members from Beaufort, Milltown and Fossa donned the glad rags and looked fabulous for the big occasion in the five-star Dunloe Hotel and Gardens.
It was billed as a disco with a twist but the style was more Hollywood glitz than disco diva and the big winner from the annual fundraiser was the school in Beaufort.
Organised by youth club leaders Marie Kehoe and Laura O’Sullivan, the Dunloe Hotel and Gardens generously made its ballroom available free of charge on the night to ensure that the maximum amount was raised.
Beaufort Youth Club also recently held an all-inclusive community Easter fun day in the local GAA field with children of all abilities and ethnicities invited and involved.
