A teenager from Killarney, who is organising a fundraising event supporting BelongTo, a charity that supports LGBTQ+ people between the ages of 14 and 25, is appealing for people to get involved.
Mischa McCarthy (16) is planning a two-hour concert in the Carnegie Theatre, Kenmare, on August 21 and an invitation has been issued to acts that might like to perform at the event.
A two-minute-long video that displays the talent is required with each application and submissions can be sent to mischasm07@gmail.com.
“The more variety the better, so every talent is welcome,” said Mischa.
