Gardai in Listowel have seized a significant quantity of what they believe to be cocaine during a raid at a house in Listowel on Tuesday night.
They said the substance was bagged and ready for sale and supply and the house was targeted by members of the Kerry Drugs Unit’s Operation Tara.
It is reported that seizure had an estimated street value of close on €3,000.
Listowel and the North Kerry are particularly busy this week for the races and gardai said they will be closely monitoring social activity in the town during the course of the week.
