AN important fundraiser to generate support for Crumlin Children’s Hospital will be held in the Killarney Royal Hotel this Saturday, April 7.

The annual event, hosted by Ann Marie O’Leary and Tara O’Donoghue, is now in its third year and it has supported the MS Ireland South Kerry branch for the previous two years.

“We are aware that there are many Killarney and Kerry families who have benefited from the medical expertise and care that Crumlin Children’s Hospital provides on an ongoing basis. We are just glad to acknowledge the good work they do and to be able to contribute financially to their ongoing efforts,” said Ann Marie.

Launching the coffee morning for Crumlin Children’s Hospital were Billy Carver, Royal Hotel, Killarney, Ann Marie O’Leary and Tara O’Donpghue

The ladies said the coffee morning will be full of home-made treats and goodies that will be difficult to resist and Tara praised those that support the event on an annual basis.

“We are so grateful to all those who bake and provide confectionery items for the morning and we would like to thank, in particular, the Killarney Royal Hotel and its staff for hosting the event,” she said.

“Of course the morning is only successful if people come out and support the cause, which they have in the previous two years, and we are so thankful for this support.”

One of the big draws on the day will be a raffle with an impressive array of prizes, all sponsored by local businesses.

Ann Marie and Tara are hoping for a big turnout to support this great cause. The event will run from 10am to 12 noon.
