Success breeds success in Milltown

PUPILS of Milltown Presentation Secondary School have proved themselves to be great sports – quite literally.

They have completed the most successful spell in the school’s sporting history with a remarkable haul of titles that sparked great celebrations.

On May 3 the junior boys won the All-Ireland basketball final while, two days later, on Friday, May 5, the first year girls claimed their own All-Ireland title and the under 16 and a half boys’ football team were crowned Munster champions.

These titles, coupled with the junior girls’ football team claiming the Munster crown a few weeks previous, represent a huge sporting achievement for Presentation Milltown.
