Stylish Siobhan is the Queen of Fashion

STUNNING Siobhan McCarthy stole the show on Ladies Day at Killarney Races and brought home the coveted Dawn Milk Queen of Fashion title.

Looking sensational in a three-quarter length, off-the-shoulder red and gold dress, from Asos, and a matching hat, the Killarney woman was styled by last year’s Queen of Fashion victor Agne Kremenskiene, a milliner and designer, based in Killarney.

Agne created the hat, the sandals were purchased in Debenhams and 31-year-old Siobhan, who works with the HSE, completed her outfit with a vintage bag.

Siobhan wins an all-expenses-paid dream trip for two to Paris and a crystal trophy and now she holds the coveted Queen of Fashion title that hundreds of other woman had dreamed of on a fabulous Ladies Day occasion.

To make it a memorable double from Killarney, local insurance agent and DJ Gavin O’Leary – perfect in a purple suit, tailor-made in Thailand, with a grey tweed waistcoat and matching hat – won the best dressed gent prize and he will be heading off to Milan, leaving his crystal trophy at home on the mantelpiece at home in Kilcummin.

Adjudicators Aidan O’Mahony and Thalia Heffernan had a difficult task in choosing a shortlist – not to mind a winner – but everybody at the races agreed that, at the end of the day, they chose wisely.
