MASTER jeweller Brian de Staic has won the jewellery store of the year award at the 2019 Retail Awards ceremony in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin.
The awards recognise the business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit of individuals that own smaller chains and whose work is often overshadowed in the bigger landscape.
Brian and his wife, Mairead, who operate three very successful outlets – one in Killarney and two in Dingle and export to 68 countries worldwide – were presented with the award by author and presenter, Andrea Hayes.
“This award is a great recognition of our contribution to the jewellery business for nearly 40 years We’d like to thank our tremendous team and all our local, national and international customers.
The awards ceremony provided an excellent platform for networking and marketing as some of the most successful retailers and brands were present to celebrate the achievements of the retail sector.
The event also offered a platform to raise money for official charity partner Make-A-Wish Ireland that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
