THE two men arrested in relation to a burglary at a pub in Blennerville, Tralee on Wednesday have since been charged and released on bail.
They are both due to appear before the courts at a later date.
Shortly after 1.00am on Wednesday, Gardaí from Tralee received a report from a member of the public about a suspicious car in the area which had the number plates blocked out.
They went to the scene and discovered the front window of the pub had been smashed and some crates of beer had been stolen.
A description of the car was circulated and Gardai stopped a vehicle in Balloonagh, Tralee a short time later.
Two men, both aged in their 30s, were arrested and brought to Tralee Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. The stolen beer was also recovered from the car.
