Stars all aligned for literary celebration

Dingle Lit is an annual celebration of literature set against the stunning backdrop of the Dingle Peninsula

Top authors Donal Ryan, Roddy Doyle and Cecilia Ahern, historian Diarmuid Ferriter and composer Peadar Ó Riada will be among the star attractions at this year’s Dingle Lit Festival on November 15-17.

An annual celebration of literature set against the stunning backdrop of the Dingle Peninsula, this year’s festival promises a compelling literary experience that will inspire and engage attendees of all ages.

This year’s festival will offer a diverse range of events in English and Irish, including author readings, panel discussions and workshops tailored for all ages.

The activities are designed to celebrate the literary arts and foster a vibrant community of readers and writers.

Other guests will include children’s writers Oliver Jeffers and Muireann Ní Chíobháin, poet Róise Ní Bhaoill, writer and columnist Barbara Scully and human rights and climate justice campaigner Ann Marie Flanagan

The festival will feature two unique events dedicated to translated fiction, supported by the European Prize for Literature, an annual initiative to recognise the best emerging fiction writers in Europe.
