Kerry captain Kieran Donaghy was on hand to cut the ribbon to declare the new TK Maxx store on Main Street officially open on Thursday.
He linked up with fashion stylist and blogger Annmarie O’Connor to launch the eagerly-awaited new premises which is located on the site previously occupied by MD O’Shea’s hardware store.
A queue had formed on the street awaiting the big opening and the first customers to check out the new business were Gerry Martin and Nora Fleming, both from Kilcummin.
The two-storey store spans 17500 sq ft and features over 60,000 different items of this season’s fashion and accessories for men, women and children as well as an extensive homeware section.
