The Spa under 14 girls enjoyed a big success at the weekend when they took on Austin Stacks in the NCP division 7B final played at the John Mitchels ground in Tralee.
The girls proved very strong throughout, working hard in all areas of the pitch and they pounced for some vital goals to secure the win on the day.

The Spa girls never stopped trying and had a great win in the end with some great individual performances.
The team was led by joint captains Niamh O’Connor and Taesha Veerasso and the victory was especially sweet as they lost out in the final of this competition last year.

“It is a testament to their hard work in training. They are a great bunch of girls with such talent and glowing personalities,” said manager Liadh Tobin.
“We were lucky to be able help them in achieving this title today and we are extremely proud of them,” she added.
Liadh’s management team on the sideline featured Amy Cronin, Aisling Cronin and Sinead Moriarty.
