The new Stronger Together Choir being formed in Killarney will start its first eight-week term on Thursday, April 6 from 7.30pm to 9.00pm and everybody over the age of 18 is welcome to register to register.
A registration evening will take place this Thursday, March 23, between 7.00pm and 8.30pm in the meeting room of the former Ross Products building on Upper Lewis Road (V93 YOYC).
Membership for the eight-week term is €40 – to be paid in full when registering with no card payment facility available – and this will ensure that the costs of running the choir will be met.
Choir member Tom O’Shea said there will be a limited capacity in the rehearsals venue and once that number is reached, membership will be closed off for the first term so early registration this Thursday is advisable.
The choir will be led by Sorcha O’Connor who was the choral director for this year’s smash hit Killarney Musical Society production which packed the INEC for three nights.
