Son TJ leads tractor run in his dad’s memory

The memory of a much-loved Kilcummin man, who passed away suddenly last March, has been kept alive by Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club in association with Kilcummin LGFA.

The late Ger Healy

They hosted the Ger Healy Memorial Tractor Run on Sunday with a huge turnout to remember a family man who was a very proud local and was well known for all he did for his community, especially the ladies’ GAA.

Over 170 tractors took part in the run, including vintage and modern, which was led out by Ger’s son TJ Healy.
From a 1950’s Nuffield to a modern New Holland, there was all types of tractors on show.
The organisers have thanked everyone who took part in the run and gave generous donations as well as the marshals, organisers and Kilcummin GAA Club members who managed the registration area and provided plenty of refreshments for everyone.
