All roads lead to the St Brigid’s Presentation School hall in Killarney on Sunday for the first badminton fixture of the season, the Kerry Masters tournament, starting at 10am.
Well done to the Killarney players who competed in Galway last weekend at the Connacht Masters Open and, in particular, to Sinead Galvin who came home with two gold medals for singles and doubles.
There were very competitive ties in the rest of tournament with Samira Hayes and Jennifer Nash playing upwards of 16 games.
Samira also partnered former member of Killarney Badminton Club, Graeme Watt, in the mixed encounter.
