
Killarney Badminton Club members Sinead Galvin and Mike Lyne were part of the Irish contingent that won the Masters Tri-Nation Select match in Newcastle, England at the weekend.
It was a particularly memorable occasion for Sinead who also won both the singles and doubles.

Ireland took gold with 45 points, ahead of runners-up England with 39 and third placed Scotland on 24.
Meanwhile, the first club juvenile tournament took place in Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre at the weekend with Killarney well represented by Conall Murphy who was runner-up in the under 16 competition, Oscar O’Sullivan who was third and Cormac Flanagan who was fourth.
