Grisly severed heads on a plate and blood-soaked bodies without limbs were the order of the day at Killarney Outlet Centre which played host to a spooky Halloween party on Sunday that had more creepy figures than a van load of Monster Munches.

After two years in the Covid dungeons, ghouls and phantoms, beasts and brutes, menacing monsters and cackling witches emerged with a vengeance and the floorboards at the busy shopping mall were creaking under the weight of buckets of blood and oceans of gore.
While some of the petrified adults were seen taking cover in the shops, the much braver children did not fear a zombie takeover and they roamed the vast arena to celebrate at a Halloween party to remember with fantastic prizes and free fun activities for the whole family.

The scary Halloween fancy dress parade attracted some amazing entries and the lucky winners received some super prizes, including a Razor Sport Scooter, Nerf Magstrike and Owl Squishi for the best dressed boy – Alex Lawlor from Kilcummin – and a Razor Sport Scooter, Crazart Shimmer n’ Sparkle Tie Dye Studio and Pussycat Squishi for the best dressed girl, who was Ella Lawlor of Kilcummin.
The best dressed family was Kevin, Marie, Lukas, Jayden, Riley and Kevin O’Connor from Killarney who received a family pass for two adults and two children to visit Santa at Anam on the East Avenue Road, Killarney and the lucky family also received three occasion platters for their next family event from O’Brien’s Irish Sandwich Bar in Killarney Outlet Centre.
The best dressed adult, AnneMarie Shanahan from Headford, collected a €50 voucher for our DV8 Store which is also in the centre.
