Transition year students from St Brendan’s College have raised an impressive €1,200 for the Killarney Lions Club Christmas food appeal.
Teacher Eimear Buckley (right) and students presented the generous donation to John Fuller (left) of Killarney Lions Club.
The money raised will be used for food hampers that will be provided for Christmas to families in need in the Killarney area.
The appeal concludes this week with a street collection on Friday and people are asked to give as generously as possible.
