BUILDING on the success of similar events over the past two years, the third annual Kerry School Choir Showcase is about to return to the stage.
The big event is planned for the Malton Hotel on Thursday, February 11 and the non-competitive performance is organised by Killarney Musical Society.
Participating primary school choirs from Killarney and throughout Kerry are receiving advance choral tuition in their school from Gemma Sugrue of Voiceworks Studio, Cork, a past member of Killarney Musical Society.
Each school will present two performances of their own choice while the night will conclude with a very special rendition featuring all the schoolchildren involved. Rehearsals are well underway in each school with pupils busy preparing for a musical treat not to be missed
