A national school in Killarney is holding a coffee morning to raise funds for the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team which is providing a tremendous service to the community.
Robert Fell, a third class teacher at Lissivigeen National School, is an active member of Kerry Mountain Rescue, providing assistance to people are caught in dangerous situations.

He has given the children of Lissivigeen National School a knowledge and insight into what happens during an incident and he organised for the crew to call to the school to show them what they do.

The Kerry Mountain Rescue Team is actively seeking funding due to costs increasing rapidly and 100 per cent of the funds raised at the coffee morning will be donated on the day.
It will be held in the Killarney Oaks Hotel this Tuesday, June 20 from 10am to 12 noon and, in addition to teas, coffees and treats, a raffle will also be held on the day.
