Sarah brings her skills to Killarney

Sarah Meaney: Acupuncture is gaining in popularity all the time

A QUALIFIED and highly skilled acupuncturist, naturopath and aromatouch practitioner has just opened a centrally located new base in the Gateway development at The Reeks in Killarney.

Sarah Meaney trained with the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Dublin where she gained invaluable experience and worked with many top class professionals.

She opened a New Beginnings clinic in Millstreet in keeping with her belief that a person’s mental, emotional and spiritual health is the first place to start to get a new beginning in life.

In late 2016 she decided to broaden her horizons by opening a second branch in Castleisland and now Sarah has brought her expertise to Killarney.

“Acupuncture is gaining popularity all the time with more people realising the benefits. It’s  gentle, relaxing treatment using micro needles to stimulate the meridians and nerve pathways in the body,” Sarah explained.

“By doing this it switches the nervous system from a sympathetic to a parasympathetic state which is the ultimate position for the body to heal itself.

“My acupuncture treatments are supported by naturopathy which is individual lifestyle support, consisting of supplements, diet, back-flowers, detoxing and more self-care tips,” she added.

AromaTouch treatments focus on massage and healing where Sarah utilises therapeutic grade oils for an all-around special experience.

“I also use my oils to create individual perfume blends, natural skincare and a lot more,” said Sarah who is registered with the AFPA.
