Santa finalises his ‘nice’ list

SANTA Claus has virtually taken up residence in Killarney where he has been busy compiling his naughty or nice list at his log cabin in Killarney Outlet Centre every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

As the frantic Christmas shopping bonanza continues in all the stores around him, the man in red seems oblivious to all the fuss as he is constantly on the hotline to the North Pole to ensure the elves keep up to speed with all the demands for toys and books from the boys and girls of Killarney.

Santa and his helper, Eamonn Elf, have been thrilled to meet so many children and their families in the Outlet Centre and he is delighted to hear they have all been on their best behaviour.

General manager Paul Sherry told KillarneyToday.com that he had a quick peek at Santa’s naughty or nice list and he was thrilled to see the naughty side was empty.

“Everybody he has met so far has been so good and Santa is going to make a special effort to be extra nice to them this Christmas. They will just have to ensure they are very good between now and then – and that includes the mums and dads as well as the children,” said Paul.

Santa will be back in the Outlet Centre this Saturday and Sunday afternoon, from 1.00pm-6.00pm, before he takes his leave late on Sunday night to head back to his workshop to make sure all the orders are ready for the big journey in a few days.
