WHATEVER about wandering dogs or stray cats, it’s not every day somebody else’s pet rabbit hops into your life.
But that’s what happened this morning when this friendly bunny was found happily hopping around a green area in Cahernane Meadows, on the Muckross Road.
According to the lady that came to its rescue, the rabbit has been in the area for the past few days but it is now being well cared for.
“It is definitely a family pet as it is well fed and has a lovely coat,” she said.
It is doing well but is obviously a little scared and probably homesick.
