SO what do you do just after you watch your brother almost single-handedly knock host nation England out of the Rugby World Cup?

You head to Killarney on holidays, of course.

Hours after she cheered on her superstar sibling, Bernard Foley, as he notched an Aussie record 28 points to send the hosts packing, Erica Foley was in a camper van and heading to Kerry to take in the scenic hotspots of the Killarney area.

The delighted Australian was overjoyed when her older brother inspired his country to a 33-18 victory in Twickenham and she will be there again next Sunday when the Aussies play Wales in the high-profile Pool A decider.

In between, however, Erica was anxious to visit Ireland and she and her friend, Holly, boarded their camper and crossed the water for a brief visit.

On their arrival to Killarney they met up with local rent-a-bike specialist Dave Sheehan who offered them some top tips on where to go and what to see.

“I gave them directions on the best route to take on the Ring of Kerry, finishing the day with a visit to Torc Waterfall and Muckross House. They were also planning a trip to Galway but I convinced them that Kerry had more to offer and advised them to visit Dingle instead,” Dave said.

“They loved Killarney and they couldn’t believe how friendly and helpful the people were.

“They were also delighted to hear than many locals would have been cheering on Australia last weekend,” he added.

Erica and Holly will be back in the UK for next Sunday’s game but if Australia remains in the competition until the end, they might just find time for a return visit to Killarney where Dave Sheehan is waiting with some more top tips.
