KILLARNEY RFC is busy preparing for the 2015/2016 season, which promises to be the most exciting year in the club’s history.

Over the last number of years, through the hard work and diligence of a number of committed members, friends and benefactors, we finally have a place we can call home. In the near future, our aim is to have one of the finest rugby facilities in all of Ireland.

If you have driven past our new base in Aghadoe recently, you may have noticed that our grounds have been a hive of activity. Our three pitches are maturing nicely and are being cut twice weekly to strengthen the grass.

The Trim Trail has been laid out with its outdoor gym equipment, the goalposts are up, planting and landscaping have improved the site visually, pathways and car parking are taking shape nicely and our temporary dressing rooms are getting the finishing touches.

Already the senior team has commenced training for the new season in Aghadoe, with the first match taking place on August 15 against Newbridge.

Two weeks later we host all of the senior Kerry sides for the Moss Keane Senior Blitz. A family open day is being planned for early September and our mini and youth sections will move to Aghadoe for the new season.

This will be the first time in many years that all club activities will be centered on the one site which, we are convinced, will be of huge benefit in terms of unity and club spirit.

Such a new and exciting development requires a greater investment. Over the coming season there will be a number of fundraising initiatives to raise the required finance.

In the 2014/2015 season Killarney RFC launched the www.myclubfinances.com membership package which allows membership to be paid online.  This has been a great success and membership subs for the coming season are now due and can be paid through www.myclubfinances.com.

We would ask everyone to please pay your membership for the forthcoming season through this website. There are a number of options available, from family memberships to minis and jobseekers to students, and payments can be made via direct debit.
