A busy pontoon at the weekend
Rowers from all over Ireland made quite a splash in ingle at the weekend as the town played host to the All-IrelandCoastal Rowing Championships– one of the biggest events in the sport’s calendar.

The three-day event brought a huge influx of competitors, their mentors and their families and it resulted in a massive end of season boost to the west Kerry tourist town.
Competitors from under 12 to masters and veterans took to the water and some fierce battles ensued with the watching public treated to some epic races, close finishes and high drama.
Medal presentations took place after the races and there was a great atmosphere in the town which was packed for the big event all through the weekend.
