The glamorous Roses and their dapper escorts had their day in the sun yesterday and today more attention will be focused on the track itself as day four of Killarney’s five-day JulyFest gets underway.

There was a real party atmosphere at the races on Wednesday evening as many of the Roses met their escorts for the first time and, judging by he smiles, they all seemed quite content.
TG4 will be broadcasting live from the corporate balcony this Thursday, featuring the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Mares Hurdle of €18,500 and there is some top class racing on the cards.
Punters at the track yesterday evening included a number of the Derry senior footballers who were putting their loss to Kerry int he All-Ireland semi-final behind them and enjoying the Kerry hospitality.

London-based master entertainer Jack Patrick Healy was seen boarding a flight to Kerry from Luton Airport on Wednesday morning and he will take centre stage at the races this evening and again tomorrow when he leads the punters in song.
Friday is best dressed ladies and gents’ day with Lee Strand Handicap Hurdle of €22,000, the Boylesports Handicap Steeplechase of €45,000 on the card.
2021 Miss Ireland Pamela Ua and social media sensation Tadhg Fleming will be the celebrity judges for this year’s ladies’ day at Killarney Races.
10 lucky ladies and 10 gents will be selected by the judges, each taking home a prize for their efforts in the fashion stakes. They will battle it out in style for the chance to be crowned best dressed and take home the fabulous prizes of trips for two to Paris and Milan.
