This year will mark the 75th anniversary of the Kingdom County Show and it promises to be a milestone weekend of family fun, farming and festivity.

This year’s event will place on Saturday and Sunday, May 10/11 in Ballymacthomas, Tralee and detailed were unveiled at the launch held in the Meadowlands Hotel.

At the launch were Garda Mary Gardiner and Honorary Garda and Little Blue Hero Jack Duggan

Making the evening even more special, the stunning Kerry Rose contestants joined the festivities, lending real glamour to the occasion as they mingled with guests and added sparkle to the celebrations.

From the thrill of livestock competitions, top-tier equestrian events and a dog show to the colour and charm of vintage tractors, food and craft stalls and the ever-popular petting farm and kids’ zone, there will be something for everyone at this year’s show.

The chosen charity this year is the Little Blue Heroes Foundation, which supports families of children with serious illnesses, many of whom dream of becoming assistant Gardaí.

Show chairperson, Michael Costello, said celebrating 75years is an extraordinary milestone.

“It’s a testament to the enduring support of our community, the dedication of our volunteers and the passion of everyone who has been part of this journey,” he said.

“We are thrilled to be marking this moment with a two-day celebration that truly has something for everyone”
