Ring of Kerry Cycle is launched for 2024

Just when you thought it was safe to hop off the saddle… it’s time to get that training gear out of storage.

Weeks after over €1 million was handed over to deserving charities, the 2024 Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle has already been launched and next year’s event is expected to bring the total amount raised since the event’s inception to over €20 million.

Next year’s big event was officially launched in the courtyard of Killarney House and Gardens on Wednesday and the cycle has been scheduled for 6th July 2024.

The chosen Tier 1 charities next year will be Breakthrough Cancer Research, Comfort for Chemo, Cancer Society, Bru Columbanus, Focus Ireland and St Francis Special School in Beaufort.

The Tier 2 charities will be Recovery Have Cancer Support House, National Breast Cancer Research Institute, Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, Irish Kidney Association, Kerry Stars, Special Olympics Club and the Southwest Counselling Service.

This year’s cycle raised a whopping €1,076,279.43 and registration for the 2024 cycle opens on Friday, December 1 at 10.00am.
