A memorial tournament dedicated to the memory of a great club stalwart who passed away at a young age was a big success at Deerpark pitch and putt Club in Killarney.
The Ricky Kelly tournament, an annual event hosted by the club and always well supported, raise €400 for the Kerry Cancer Support Group which operates a daily Health Link bus service to and from Cork and Limerick for the benefit of patients undergoing treatment..
The Ricky Kelly memorial was inaugurated in 1991 to remember the Dalton’s Avenue native who worked tirelessly to promote the club and was a very valued member of the committee for many years, including a very efficient PRO.
