Pupils in a class at Gaelscoil Faithleann in Killarney have won a dream training session with the Kerry football squad and they got to meet their heroes in the process.

Their sporting wishes came through when they got to run out alongside senior Kerry manager Jack O’Connor and players Paudie and David Clifford at Dr Crokes GAA Club on Lewis Road.

They won the training session courtesy of Lee Strand and the company’s chief executive, Gearóid Linnane, presented a signed Kerry jersey to parent Kerstin Fitzpatrick who nominated the school in the competition while principal Lisa Ní Iarlaithe also received a signed Kerry jersey as a keepsake for the school.

Following the training session pupils received a Lee Strand goody bag and milk for post training recovery.
