That was the clear message sent out by the fashion conscious women of Kerry yesterday as they turned on the style for Ladies Day at Killarney Races.
Orange, yellow, pink, beige, red, lime green and power blue ensembles lit up the racecourse as the ladies who enjoy a flutter on the horses and an occasional glass of bubbly had a delightful day out.
Broadcaster and Dancing with the Stars winner Mairead Ronan had the extremely difficult task of selecting 10 finalists from the hundreds of women that made such a huge effort to steal the show and, eventually, Eileen O’Shea from Killarney, fabulous in a wonderfully coordinated ream coloured dress, was adjudged the winner.
