HEYDAY, a highly-regarded feature-length documentary, based on the life of gifted singer-songwriter Mic Christopher, will be screened at the Kerry Film Festival in Killarney on October 20.

Mic Christopher and his music touched and inspired a generation of Irish talent and he composed the title track used in the 2003 Guinness ad, Quarrel, starring Fossa film star Michael Fassbender.

The heartfelt story charts the singer-songwriter’s humble beginnings, busking on the streets of Dublin, his rise to rock star status and the near fatal road traffic accident that left him millimeters from death.

It continues right through to his final year where he inspired an entire generation of Irish musicians to achieve fame, success and new artistic highs.
