President’s day a big success in Killarney

Golfers in Killarney got the presidential salute at the weekend when they competed for Junior Finnegan’s President’s Prize at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club.

The men’s prize was won by Dan Quirke while the top woman golfer on the day was Mary Lyons.

The junior boy’s winner was Junior Boys winner Ronan Bennett and the top performing junior girl on the day was Aoife O’Sullivan.

There was a great turnout for the event and the festivities continued long into the night with music and entertainment lined up for the presentation of prizes in the clubhouse.
