2023 will go down in history for some students of St Brigid’s Presentation Secondary School in Killarney as they fielded the first ever camogie team in the school.
The team was founded by teachers Conor O’Keeffe – a Kerry hurler – and Claudia O’Donoghue.
Sponsorship provided by the Ring of Kerry charity cycle committee allowed the school to purchase he gear required for the initiative which included hurleys, sliotars and helmets.
