A creative Killarney chef has been chosen to represent Ireland at the world pizza championships in Parma, Italy.
Facundo Rodulfo, who runs the busy Tango Street Food in Killarney, has been invited to compete at the big event on April 9-11 and it’s a challenge he is really relishing.
Facundo’s culinary journey, stretching from the vibrant landscapes of Argentina to the heart of the Kingdom, has shaped Tango Street Food into a very popular business.
His passion for pizza, rooted in his Argentinean upbringing, has evolved at Tango Street Food, where his wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas fuse an inspired blend of Italian and Irish ingredients.

“Facundo’s participation is a testament to his dedication and our journey from Argentina to Kerry is part of Tango’s story.
“We are proud to represent Ireland in such a contest,” said his wife and co-owner of Tango Street Food Pamela Neumann.
Top food critics John and Sally McKenna and Lucinda O’Sullivan have been lavish in their praise of Tango.
It is the first Argentinian restaurant in Kerry and the only Argentinian Parrilla in Ireland. Facundo and Pamela offer a very unique culinary experience with Neapolitan style pizzas, empanadas, Gaucho-style barbeque, Argentine wines and traditional pastries.
