THEY are one of the hottest acts on the Irish music scene and they rocked the INEC in Killarney this Sunday night with a power-packed performance in the packed to capacity Acoustic Club.

Picture This became the first band ever to sell out The Academy in Dublin for a debut gig and it was a full house an incredible five weeks in advance. Tonight, in Killarney, it was no different.
Hailing from Athy, Co Kildare, Jimmy Rainsford (22) and Ryan Hennessy (21) joined forces at the end of October 2015, after Jimmy spotted Ryan performing in local pubs and venues. After quickly hitting it off, the duo decided to make the partnership more permanent and Picture This was born.

Rainsford had previously toured with Ryan Sheridan while Hennessy had been a member of another local band.

Take My Hand is the follow-up to the band’s first release, You and I, which was a huge hit on Irish radio and also received airplay time across UK and US airwaves.

Setting up the band’s Facebook page as a way to promote their music, the response was instant and it went from 100 friends and family to over 14,500 in a short space of time. They have now received over 2.5 million views on Facebook and over 250,000 views on YouTube.

Their Traffic Jam videos have become a viral sensation and have seen the likes of Gavin James, The Coronas, Ryan Sheridan, Hometown and Aslan’s Christy Dignam all take part with requests from many more artists to join in.

The band has just signed with international agents CAA under the guidance of Jon Ollier, the man responsible for bringing Ed Sheeran from the streets of London to stadia all over the world.
