Peter and Pauls make Rules squad

Paul Geaney is one of three Kerry players involved

THREE Kerry players have been named in the 21-man squad for the International Rules tests with Australia next month.

Manager Joe Kernan has included Paul Geaney, Paul Murphy and Peter Crowley for the squad following demanding trials and they will now prepare for the first test at the Adelaide Oval on November 12, with another clash in Perth coming six days later.

In all, 14 counties are represented but players from All-Ireland champions Dublin were not considered.

The backroom team includes Kerry’s Darragh Ó Sé, Galway’s Pádraic Joyce and former Kidare player Dermot Earley.
