THE Tour de Munster charity cycle is moving at a fast pace towards Killarney.
Over 100 volunteer cyclists, raising funds for Down Syndrome Ireland, have embarked on a 600km four-day cycle around the province, and they will roll into town this Saturday afternoon.

Led by cycling legend Sean Kelly, the determined cyclists and their entourage will leave Tralee tomorrow morning and stop-off in Killarney National Park at Knockreer from 4.00pm to 4.30pm.
They will enjoy refreshments and meet the locals in the Deenagh Lodge tearooms which is run by Down Syndrome Kerry and, after that, they will head to Kenmare for an overnight stop.
The 17th annual Tour de Munster left City Hall in Cork City on Thursday and the participants will return to Cork on Sunday.
All funds raised from the charity cycle will go directly to the Munster branches of Down Syndrome Ireland and since its inception in 2001, Tour de Munster has raised over €2.4 million for its beneficiaries with almost €1.9 million for DSI alone.
