Park trails cut off after heavy rainfall

Excessive rainfall over the course of the weekend has led to several popular walkways sin Killarney National Park being deemed off limits.

A number of trails have been cut off due to spot flooding with parts of Derrycunnihy, Ross Island and parts of the Muckross and Dinis pathway are inaccessible.

Sections of Knockreer Estate are also flooded and the public has been advised to be careful when walking.
